Tour Sagrada Familia

Two masterpieces by Gaudí that marked an era

The Sagrada Familia and Park Güell are two of Antoni Gaudí's most emblematic works and undisputed symbols of Barcelona.

The Sagrada Familia basilica began construction in 1882 and, although still unfinished, is now a World Heritage Site and the most visited monument in the city. Its interior, inspired by nature, is designed as a stone forest with columns rising like trunks and stained glass windows that fill the space with light and color. Each facade tells a part of the biblical story and reflects Gaudí's spiritual vision, making this temple a unique work in the world.

For its part, Park Güell was conceived between 1900 and 1914 as a garden city that eventually became a public park. Also declared a World Heritage Site, it surprises with its trencadís mosaics, the famous Dragon Staircase, the Hypostyle Hall, and terraces with panoramic views of Barcelona. Both monuments represent the peak of Catalan modernism and are the best way to understand Gaudí's creative genius.

With our Sagrada Familia and Park Güell tours you will experience a complete experience in a single tour.

Tips to make the most of the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell tours

  • Look for the best light for your photos. In the Sagrada Familia, the stained glass windows offer different colors in the morning and afternoon. Take advantage of the chosen time to get unique images.
  • Look up and down. In Park Güell, the ceilings of the Hypostyle Hall and the wavy benches hide details that are often overlooked. Don't limit yourself to the obvious.
  • Don't be afraid to ask the guide. This tour is your opportunity to resolve doubts about Gaudí's work. The anecdotes and curiosities shared by the guides greatly enrich the visit.
  • Observe the work in its historical context. Place Gaudí's creation in the context of early 20th century Barcelona. Understanding that historical environment will allow you to better appreciate the innovative and forward-thinking vision that Gaudí captured in his architecture.
  • Take a moment for silence. Inside the Sagrada Familia, take a moment without photos or comments, just observe. It is the best way to feel the greatness of the temple.
  • Leave room for imagination. Many forms of Park Güell and the Sagrada Familia are inspired by nature. Try to guess which animal, plant, or natural form inspired each detail.
  • Discover the less crowded corners. Beyond the dragon and the viewpoints of Park Güell, there are paths and quiet areas perfect for resting and connecting with the environment.
  • Travel light. Avoid carrying large backpacks or bags. You will be more comfortable and pass security checks faster at the Sagrada Familia.
